R “Ray” Wang, principal analyst and CEO of Constellation Research, said:
“Based on conversations with over 20 Unit4 customers and 400 ERP prospects, Unit4’s People Experience Suite demonstrated that it is able to offer customers strong services-centric ERP capabilities, deeper project-based and professional services automation capabilities, a two-tier ERP strategy where corporate may be on a different ERP but subsidiaries and new entities are on Unit4, and deep vertical experiences in financial services, higher education, non-profits, professional services, public services and travel.”
The report also categorized Unit4 as having a strong bias towards service-centric (experience-based) ERP. It also said that Unit4’s “low-code/no-code approach makes it easier for Unit4 customers to quickly integrate,” which is a significant factor for companies looking to migrate from on-premises to cloud-based ERP systems.
Mike Ettling, CEO at Unit4, said:
“This report clearly defines the differentiation of our Services-Centric focus vs. Product-Centric and establishes Unit4 as the market leader amongst Service-Centric providers. Employees want to be truly enabled with information from across the business so they can not only enjoy day-to-day work but ensure their work has a meaningful impact. Unit4’s ERP enables people in thousands of businesses around the world to focus on the work that matters.”
