Unit4 Appoints Adam Bastin as EVP Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development
Unit4, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for mid-market services organizations, today announced the appointment of Adam Bastin as EVP Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development.
Adam’s hire reflects the ambitions of Unit4 and its new private equity backers, TA Associates, to use significant acquisitive growth to supplement organic growth to accelerate the transformation of Unit4. He will be instrumental in driving Unit4’s global growth and M&A priorities as a member of the Global Leadership Team and responsible for the full lifecycle of acquisition opportunities from target identification to M&A execution and integration into Unit4.
Adam is an experienced M&A, corporate finance and investment professional with more than 20 years of transaction experience including public and private transactions, venture investments, joint-ventures, privatizations and financing transactions. His experience translating strategy into actionable M&A and investments will be crucial in achieving Unit4’s ambition to be recognized as a leading cloud company and champion for mid-market people-centric organizations.
Adam joins Unit4 from Arm Limited where he held the role of Vice President, Corporate Development and led the origination and execution of Arm's M&A and investment activity and represented Arm on the board of various investee companies. Prior to joining Arm, Adam worked at BT Group plc and prior to that spent 10 years in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and HSBC. Additionally, Adam is a Non-Executive Director at London Stock Exchange-listed British Smaller Companies VCT plc, an investor in early-stage businesses predominantly in the technology sector.
