East Hampshire District Council Selects Unit4 ERP Financials and FP&A to Drive Automation and Support Financial Best Practice
London, August 23, 2023 -- Unit4, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for people-centric organizations, today announced that East Hampshire District Council has selected Unit4 ERP Financials, and FP&A to automate and simplify the Council’s business processes, reduce administration costs, and support financial best practice.
East Hampshire District Council is a local government district in Hampshire, England. Based in Petersfield and covering a population of 130,000 citizens, it was the first Council in the country to develop a shared management team with Havant Borough Council (Havant DC). Having separated from Havant DC and an IT shared service, East Hampshire District Council, has now selected Unit4 to support its finance teams.
As well as recognizing the enhanced functionality and usability of Unit4, East Hampshire also believes that the highly configurable and intuitive Unit4 solutions are the most cost effective.
By choosing Unit4 ERP Financials and FP&A, East Hampshire District Council will benefit from:
- Managing budgets through self-service reporting, with less employee reliance on accountants to provide the information they need
- Real-time availability of information and insights from a single source of truth
- The ability to drill down to identify root causes and dependencies for financial planning
- Integrated asset tracking with accounting, procurement, and other financial functions for full financial control and visibility
- The power of Financial Planning - from accuracy in planning, to having a transparent overview of the progress and results of all planning cycles, as well as easy share and number interpretation with graphical visualizations and dashboards.
For many years, Unit4’s public sector solutions have been helping organizations to drive efficiencies and deliver greater value to the communities they serve. East Hampshire District Council is now among many other councils in the UK which have chosen Unit4, including South Kesteven District Council, St. Helen’s Borough Council, Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils, and North Warwickshire Borough Council.
