Unit4 and Lunar proud winners of Danish "ERP of the year awards 2022"
Unit4 and Lunar are proud winners of the "The ERP of the year Awards 2022", the winner was announced at an award ceremony during Devoteam's conference "ERPandBeyond" - Forrettningssystemer i forandring 2022"
Denmark’s largest ERP conference, Devoteam’s ERP & Beyond event, was held in Copenhagen on Tuesday, September 20. Over 400 delegates were in attendance to hear about the latest trends and tech and to find out who had been triumphant in this year’s award categories.
Alongside Lunar, a major player in the Nordics banking sector, Unit4 was delighted to be named as winners of ERP of the Year 2022!
The ERP of the year Awards are the most prestigious you can get in the industry. As the conference was not held in the previous two years due to the pandemic, this year´s awards were given to nominees with projects taking place from 2019.
Lunar’s ERP implementation was a hugely successful project. From the start there was a focus on right fit technology, coupled with standardized methodology. Collaboration between Lunar and Unit4 was key, with each team member being clear on the desired outcomes and not veering from the strategy. This ensured that the project ran smoothly, to plan and on budget and went live within a speedy four-month period.
Lunar shifted from start-up to scale-up within a short period of time. Their legacy Enterprise Resource Planning platform was struggling to scale with the bank’s ambitious customer and market growth. Unit4 deployed their next-generation, unified ERP platform to optimize customer and employee experience. The automated, scalable open platform connects seamlessly with the bank’s software ecosystem to create one seamless digital experience across the organization.
The project won as it was a fantastic example of how a system implementation can successfully take place at pace if sensible decisions are made up front and a strategy is adhered to.

The winners demonstrated a successful project, where a supplier and customer worked together to implement or redeploy an ERP system, with the emphasis on an effective program, and lessons learned to inspire other vendors and companies facing the implementation of a new system. The winner was chosen by a professional jury, who represent a wide range of experience within ERP implementation projects, project management, change management, and general IT management. The jury has gone through the submitted nominations and compared them on a number of criteria set by industry experts.
